Hi,
the version of OpenSSL on my server is 0.9.7a. I would like to know if there are any plans to update to the latest 0.9.8k. I realise such an update is not a light job but I am concerned about security issues : a scan of my ecommerce site with the Trend Micro SecureSite utility reported a number of critical or severe vulnerabilities that are addressed by the latest update of OpenSSL. Thanks in advance for any information or reassurances. Regards, Denis |

I am afraid that at this point I cannot provide you with an ETA when the new version of OpenSSL will be deployed on our Shared servers. Note that since we have hundreds of servers a lot of testing is required before we undertake such a serious change. Our System Administrators, however, will do their best to upgrade the OpenSSL on our servers as soon as possible.
You can, however, upgrade to a VPS or Dedicated server. On those platform we can install any version of OpenSSL you require for your website
